Emotional Wellness means:

Expressing your feelings, adjusting to challenges, coping with the stress that life brings, and enjoying your life. Emotional wellness involves understanding one’s self and adequately facing the challenges life brings.

Why it is important:

  • How you feel impacts every aspect of life.
  • Taking time to think about your feelings and emotions can keep you true to yourself
  • Allows you to best interpret and express your feelings.

How to improve:

  • Mindfulness
  • Social Connections
  • Manage Stress
  • Appropriately Express Emotions
  • Improve Self-Awareness
