Nova Southeastern University- Jacksonville won the 2012 National Medical Challenge Bowl!  At the annual American Academy of Physician Assistants Conference in Toronto, Ontario, NSU Jacksonville’s PA students competed against 48 highly competitive teams, including three other PA programs from NSU.  Whitney Boyd, Thomas Pieniazek, and Kara Forinash came out victorious after eliminating other institutions through several rounds of competition.  The final four institutions included DeSales University (reigning champions), Duke University, the University of Toledo, and our own NSU Jacksonville.  Our Sharks won with points acquired on the final question of the last round.  The students gave big thanks to their faculty coach, Angela Dunaway, PharmD, PA-C.

The story is featured in the Tuesday issue of 2012 AAPA Conference Daily.
