Join top transhumanism scholars James Hughes and Susan Levin as they debate the pros and cons of biotechnological enhancement.

James Hughes Ph.D., the Executive Director of the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies and Associate Provost for Institutional Research, Assessment and Planning for the University of Massachusetts Boston. He is the author of Citizen Cyborg: Why Democratic Societies Must Respond to the Redesigned Human of the Future.

Susan B. Levin Ph.D. is Roe/Straut Professor in the Humanities and Professor of Philosophy at Smith College. Her most recent book is Posthuman Bliss? The Failed Promise of Transhumanism.

Should we be using science and technology to enhance our health, strength, intelligence, lifespan and more beyond natural limits? Would such interventions make our lives better? How would they affect society at large?
