The softball team will get their gloves dirty this week as they play eight games in five days. The first two games come at the end of the Eckerd Tournament on Feb. 27 when they face West Florida at 9:30 a.m. before turning right around and meeting with Lynn University in a non-conference match-up at noon. Five days later the Sharks will host a double-header against Mercyhurst College from Pennsylvania on March 2 at the AD Griffin Sports Complex. NSU will close out the week traveling to Carrollton, Ga. for the Wolves Invitational for a six game stretch in three days, first beginning against tournament host West Georgia at noon on March 4. The Sharks will get a break before playing Augusta State at 4 p.m. The next day, March 5, NSU will have back-to-back games against Alabama-Huntsville and North Alabama at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. On the third and final day of the tournament on March 6, the Sharks will meet Davis and Elkins College and Georgia Southwestern in back-to-back games at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
