Jenny Hsiu-Ying Chang, Ph.D., a doctoral graduate of the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (DCAR) in NSU’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS), presented at the 2014 Southeast Conference hosted by the Department of Social Psychology atShih Hsin University in Taiwan. The conference theme was “Well-being of Family: Interdisciplinary Dialogue and Integration.”
Chang’s presentation was entitled, “Understanding Trust, Building Trusting Relationships: A Holistic Chinese View to Bridge Divergences and Support Compatibility.” Chang has served as a Florida Supreme Court Certified County Mediator and has provided workshops on such topics as intercultural communication, trust and team building, and cross-cultural approaches to conflict resolution.
