Welcome back for another fabulous semester at NSU! A great big THANK YOU to all of the student organizations that have already stepped up to the plate and registered your Heart Walk teams! The American Heart Association’s 2014 Broward Heart Walk is quickly approaching and with your participation we can make this year the best ever for NSU!
We need Team Captains from student organizations, programs, departments, and centers university-wide that will recruit members to their Heart Walk teams and fund-raise for this very special cause. Don’t worry…even if you cannot walk on the day of the big event you can still register for your team and help out by donating and participating in fundraising events.
Will you consider being a Team Captain or nominating someone from your student organization, program, department or center to be a Team Captain? We know you have just the right person to lead a team of walkers for your group! Being a Team Captain will be fun and participating is an excellent way to earn volunteer and community service hours!

The walk will take place on March 8, right here at NSU and family, friends, and pets are welcome…the more the merrier! It will be a great day full of (free!) fun, food, giveaways, and fundraising for a very worthy cause!
