With Nova Southeastern University rising in the US News & World Report National Universities Rankings, we are becoming a popular destination for many of the best and brightest students in the country. However, this also means the undergraduate population is growing and more students are choosing to live in our residence halls, in turn, NSU is not able to guarantee on-campus housing for our upperclassmen as well as are large graduate student population.
NSU’s University Housing is providing additional resources options for our students that won’t be able to live on campus, our graduate students who are also navigating the private leasing market, as well as NSU’s faculty and staff. We are excited to launch our brand new off-campus housing website, www.offcampus.nova.edu partnering with Apartments.com The site will exclusively serve students and staff of NSU. Those with a NSU login will be able to sign up and access the site. Apartments.com will continuously be monitoring the site, reviewing and posting new property listings, and ensuring safety among users. The site is officially live and we are excited to see the amount of listings grow and develop over the next year. You have the option to search for listings, create a roommate profile of yourself, and search for potential roommates that are affiliated with NSU based on the profile characteristics. The roommate finder will be an excellent tool for students, so the more students that register and create profiles, the stronger the roommate pool will be for everyone.
There will also be representatives from many of the properties from this website on campus with more information about their community at the NSU Housing Fair on Tuesday, March 21. The fair will be held in the Spine of the Don’t Taft University Center, from 10am-2pm.
