NSU’s Quality of Life Council to Celebrate Community Research

Eleven years ago, Nova Southeastern University (NSU) joined with several Broward County agencies to form the Quality of Life Council (QOL). These organizations include the Children’s Services Council, Henderson Behavioral Health, Broward Health, and Broward Sheriff’s Office, to name a few.

The mission of the QOL Council is simple – take the most serious problems affecting the quality of life in Broward County, bring the best minds of NSU’s faculty, students, and community providers to bear and the results will be a better quality of life for Broward County. To honor those projects that have truly made a difference, the Council will be conducting its first-ever Quality of Life Celebration of Community Research.

The event is scheduled from 3:30 – 5 p.m. Wednesday, November 20th at the Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information Technology Center (2nd Floor Gallery) on NSU’s main campus, 3300 S. University Drive., Davie.  Refreshments and appetizers will be served.
