Inside Out is a global art project that gives communities all over the world a platform to express themselves through black and white photographs. Inspired by a Parisian street artist, Inside Out gives everyone the opportunity to share their portrait and make a statement. Black and white headshots of individuals are printed on posters then pasted on public spaces and archived online.
Inside Out is coming to Broward to celebrate Broward 100 and NSU is participating! We are looking for members of the NSU community to be models – students, faculty, staff, alumni are all eligible to participate. Come out and help us showcase the human spirit of our diverse NSU community.
Photo shoots will be held on the 2nd floor lounge of the University Center. Dates are:
- Wednesday, August 26, 6:00 – 9:00 pm
- Thursday, September 10, 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
The finished black and white portraits will be posted around main campus beginning in late September 2015. All participants will be welcome to join in the activities. Stay tuned for the official installation date and volunteer opportunities.
Please must bring your NSU Shark card to the photo shoot. Participation in Inside Out Broward is open to NSU students, faculty, staff and alumni only.
