The sunny weather and festive energy around the NSU Gold Circle Lake certainly made this year’s NSU CommunityFest an event to remember again. NSU students, faculty and staff members brought their friends and families to this exciting event, which included music, food, and fun. This event featured numerous attractions including a caricature and balloon artist, a rock wall, a 33ft tall slide, a bounce house, an obstacle course, a gladiator joust and of course our most favorite attraction, the petting zoo.
All together, the event featured 100 student organizations, 18 departments & colleges, 14 sponsors, 26 food vendors, and over 100 volunteers. Radio X played an array of today’s hits while the crowd found their way around the lake grabbing some delicious samples from the area’s best food vendors such as Applebee’s, BC Tacos, Blaze Pizza, Buffalo Wild Wings, Burger 21, BurgerFi, Candy Cottage, Chartwells, Davie Froots, Flashbacks Diner, Hoffman’s Chocolates, Hungry Howies Pizza, Hurricane Grill and Wings, Individually Wrapped Gourmet, Jimmy Johns, Lime Fresh Mexican Grill, Menchies of Davie, Padrino’s Cuban Cuisine, Pizza Loft, Quarterdeck Restaurant, The Magic Cow, The Whole Enchilada Fresh Mexican Grill, Tijuana Flats, and Tropical Smoothie.
