2019 BLSA “When They See Us” Panel
- The NSU Black Law Students Association welcomes you to our Fall 2019 panel event, which focuses on the Central Park Five Jogger case. This year, a drama miniseries titled, “When They See Us” was released, which sparked a nationwide discussion about the details of the case and how five innocent young men spent years fighting the convictions that were placed against them.
This panel focuses on the legal perspective from different vantage points. Attendees will learn more about the case, how the case was handled, and how relatable the pre-trial/trial process is to our justice system today
