K.B. Schaller’s presentation of her novel “Gray Rainbow Journey” will include a reading from her novel followed by a discussion. Through the lenses of the novel’s characters, and waving in her presentation Native-American history, Schaller will address contemporary issues pertinent to Indian-American communities. K.B. Schaller will reveal historical bases for Native-American viewpoints of The Jesus Way (=Christianity), as well as touch upon issues of Indian-American heritage, intergenerational relationships, spirituality and identity.
Gray Rainbow Journey was awarded in 2009, the Best Books Award in the category Multicultural Fiction, Suspense and Religion. Faculty members and students are invited to this thought provocative event.
