Learning more about the ways to volunteer and serve the community at the Volunteer Fair

On Tuesday, February 22nd, over 250 students passed through the University Center Atrium to learn more about the local and national opportunities available at the Volunteer Fair sponsored by the Office of Student Leadership and Civic Engagement. The fair included over 20 organizations from the area looking to recruit NSU students to help with their upcoming volunteer projects. The organizations included:

  • American Cancer Society
  • A.R.C. of Broward
  • Big Brothers Big Sisters
  • Broward County FL: Keep Broward Beautiful
  • Chabad of Nova
  • Debbie’s Dream Foundation
  • Deliver the Dream
  • Easter Seals South Florida
  • Food for the Poor
  • Junior Achievement of South Florida
  • Kids and the Power of Work
  • No More Years
  • SOS Children’s Village Florida
  • The Humanity Project
  • United Way of Broward
  • Women in Distress
  • Youth Mentoring Programs-Broward County
  • And many more
