The cover story spotlights community outreach by alumnus Kyle Latham and his volunteer work with the Special Olympics. A recent graduate of the college’s exercise and sport science program, Latham served as head coach of the local Alpine Ski Team, which competed at the Special Olympics Southeast Winter Games in North Carolina last year.
Forum’s latest issue also includes an article on the college’s COMP Fellows program that aids first-year students in writing courses; a Q&A with an assistant professor who’s also a professional dancer and choreographer; a look at research conducted by students in the college’s new M.S. in Experimental Psychology program; and much more.
