TANGO 1 & 2 Instructional Program

Have you ever wanted to learn to Tango?  Now is your chance!  We will be offering two classes.  Tango 1 is for the beginner and Tango 2 is for the advanced Tango dancer!  The Tango class will be offered Monday’s, beginning Monday, January 21st from 7:30 – 8:30 pm (Tango 1) and 8:30 – 9:30 pm (Tango 2).  The session is only $30 per student, $40 for any member of the RecPlex and for any non member of the RecPlex, it’s $55.  All classes will take place in the RecPlex and last four weeks.  For any additional information, please contact Mike Prociuk at Prociuk@nova.edu or visit our web page for full course details at Ballroom Dance Info.  To register, please call 954-262-7301.

SALSA Instructional Program

Have you ever wanted to learn the Salsa? Now is your chance! Whether your intention is to learn for fun, fitness, or networking, Salsa is a great way to make new memories that will last a lifetime. The six-week class will help you build confidence in the world of Salsa and enjoy the spotlight on the dance floor. BELLY DANCING Instructional Program

Belly Dancing lessons are back!  Beginning January 24th, our new Belly dancing instructor Nicole will begin teaching this six week course.  The class will meet once a week for 6 weeks on Thursdays at 7 pm.  There are so many benefits to taking this course! You will be learning a new dance that will teach you posture, flexibility, strength, endurance, and most importantly, self-confidence. Belly dance can also be seen as a workout that targets specific areas relevant to the woman figure.  Cost for the course is $50 for students, $65 for members of the RecPlex & $80 for non members.  For more information, please visit our website: Belly Dancing! GOLF Instructional Program

Instructors Scott Roland, Jeff Butler and Chris Granger do a great job at fitting the needs of each individual golfer.  We will be offering Saturday morning  classes at 9 am and 10:30 am.  Classes will begin on January 26th.  Feel free to check out our web-site at Instructional Program Golf for a complete set of class dates, times, and prices.  Any other questions or inquiries can be directed to Mike Prociuk at 954-262-7305 or by email at prociuk@nova.edu.

Classes fill up fairly quickly and each class has limited space, so don’t hesitate to call or stop by the front desk of the RecPlex at 954-262-7301 to register.  A confirmation email will be sent to all registered participants before the start of the first class.

TENNIS Instructional Program

Campus Recreation is now offering Tennis lessons for beginner and intermediate players.  The class will be four weeks in duration and meet once a week on Saturdays.  The beginners class begins at 9 am and the intermediate class will begin at 10 am.  All lessons take place at the Rolling Hills Tennis courts.  Registration fee for students is $25, members of the RecPlex is $35 and for any non member the fee is $45.  For any additional information, please contact Mike Prociuk at Prociuk@nova.edu or visit our web page for full course details at Tennis Lessons .  To register, please call 954-262-7301.
