Investigation with Dr. T (Mar 7, 14, 21, 28)

Join Fischler College of Education and School of Criminal Justice Associate Professor Dr. Grace Telesco as she hosts “Investigation with Dr. T,” a series where she discusses exciting topics in the field of criminal justice and beyond with guests who will bring thought-provoking programs to life. The program helps to bridge the gap between theory and practice.

This month, Dr. Telesco will host four events on March 7, 14, 21 and 28.

On Thursday, March 7, Dr. Telesco will host Anatomy of a Crime Scene with Forensic Expert, Dr. Sharon Plotkin, certified crime scene investigator since 2006 with the International Association for Identification.

On Thursday, March 14, she will host The Anatomy of a Missing Person’s Case with special guest Ed Dentzel from the Unfound Podcast. This show will examine the elements of missing persons cold cases and examine blueprints for analysis through facts that are uncovered.

On Thursday, March 21, Dr. Telesco will host You have the Right: A deep look into the Public Defender’s Office with special guest Chief Assistant Public Defender, Melinda Blostein. Blostein serves in the Specialty Courts Division, including the Mental Health Division, Drug Court, and Veterans Treatment Intervention Court. Join us as we learn the responsibilities, challenges, and caseload of a public defender.

On Thursday, March 28, Dr. Telesco will host Mental Health and Drug Courts with special guest Judge Ari Abraham Porth.

All of the programs will start at 7:00 p.m. and can be watched on the Live section of The Fischler College of Education and School of Criminal Justice’s YouTube Channel.
