NSU Tampa Student Affairs and the Tampa Student Government Association hosted a Hispanic Heritage Fiesta on October 6. Forty people were in attendance including students, staff, and faculty.
Dishes from several different countries were served by Jeff Rocker and Brandon Avery.
Students from all over were interested in tasting different foods that were being place in front of them.
As soon as students got a taste of the food, it wasn’t long till they came back for a second plate.
All whom attended the event also took a short quiz about Hispanic culture based on their prior knowledge of Hispanic Heritage. Winner, Erica Smith, went home with a $25 Barnes and Noble gift card. Overall, the event was a success that left students asking when the next one will be done.
