HEALING THE PLANET: EFFECTS OF GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE
Healing the Planet: Effects of Global Change will focus on many facets of global climate change and its effects on the planet. Topics will range from forest fires, global warming, ocean pollution, and more! Participants will have an opportunity to interact with community partners and organizations that focus on this work full time, while your service projects will have the ability to directly and positively impact the environment and growing body of research that is needed to help make a change.
The experience will be split up into 3 sessions. Students that would like to attend, MUST ATTEND ALL 3 SESSIONS that relate to that social issue. Participants that engage in all SAS Sessions and complete designated service projects will be eligible to receive 1 ExEL unit in Community Engagement.
