Get Caught Up in Recyclemania!

Nova Southeastern University is one of 600 colleges and universities that are participating in a nationwide recycling program called Recyclemania.  Recyclemania is a friendly competition to get higher education institutions to start going green and to make our planet a better place to live. NSU is competing against 15 other Florida schools from February 6 through April 2 to win the title of the college that collected the most recyclables. To win, schools will report recycling and trash data to Recyclemania over a 10-week period. Schools are then ranked according to who collects the largest amount of recyclables per capita, the largest amount of total recyclables, the least amount of trash per capita, or have the highest recycling rate. So let’s pull together and start recycling our trash not to just win the competition, but make our planet a whole lot greener.
