This is an open casting call to every aspiring actor: Audition for a part in Everyman, the upcoming Performance Series production from the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences.
Auditions for Everyman
Wednesday, Dec. 4
8:00–11:00 p.m.
Black Box Theatre | Don Taft University Center
Everyman is an ever-contemporary classic. When Death comes for the title character, his values and accomplishments are all up for question. Along with the audience, Everyman has to ask himself whether what he thought was good really was good—a question asked throughout the wryly humorous, deeply moving, and intensely human drama. Everyman is a play about every one of us, so it remains as fresh and surprising as it was when it was written half a millennium ago. The college will present performances of Everyman at NSU Feb. 14–23.
All auditioning actors must prepare a one-minute monologue and be prepared to stay throughout the evening. Auditions are open to all NSU students, faculty, and staff members.
For more information, contact Mark Duncan, M.F.A., associate professor and assistant director of the college’s Division of Performing and Visual Arts, at (954) 262-8094.
