The Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences hosted a signing ceremony on Mar. 31, recognizing the addition of five new undergraduate and graduate degree combinations to NSU’s Dual Admission Program. This program allows highly qualified undergraduate applicants to secure early acceptance to a selection of the university’s master’s and professional degree programs.
The Dual Admission Program now offers the following undergraduate and graduate degree program pairings:
- B.S. in Biology/M.H.Sc. in Anesthesiologist Assistant
Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences/College of Allied Health and Nursing - B.S. in Chemistry/ M.H.Sc. in Anesthesiologist Assistant
Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences/College of Allied Health and Nursing - B.S. in Chemistry/Pharm.D. (Doctor of Pharmacy)
Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences/College of Pharmacy
- B.S. in Chemistry/Ph.D. in Pharmacy

To make the additions official, Don Rosenblum, Ph.D., dean of the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences, and Ray Ferrero, Jr., J.D., chancellor of NSU, signed certificates with the deans of the other participating NSU colleges: Richard E. Davis, PA-C, Ed.D., dean of the College of Allied Health and Nursing; Andrés Malavé, Ph.D., dean of the College of Pharmacy; and Anthony J. Silvagni, D.O., Pharm.D., dean of NSU’s College of Osteopathic Medicine.
With the additions, the Dual Admission Program now offers more than 30 undergraduate and graduate degree pairings.
