The South Florida Diversity Alliance hosted the annual Diversity Summit at NSU on Saturday, October 30 from 9am to 5pm. The day included an riveting keynote performance and 19 top-notch topical sessions led by South Florida faculty, administrators, students and community leaders. During the Summit, over 150 students, staff, and community leaders engaged in interactive discussions about our community’s most pressing issues. The goal of the Diversity Summit is to bring diverse individuals together to promote collaborative learning, reflection and action. Numerous projects are emerging from the Summit experience and we expect ongoing collaborations to continue as participants join together to put their learning into action and make a positive difference in our community. The South Florida Diversity Alliance is led by representatives from Nova Southeastern University, Florida Atlantic University, Lynn University, and Barry University.
