Get ready to make a splash and showcase your Shark Pride at our highly anticipated annual Homecoming Parade, scheduled for Friday, November 10th, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. in the UC Shark Circle! This is your chance to dive into the Homecoming Festivities and be part of an event that brings our campus community together in an exhilarating celebration.
For the FIRST TIME, we are officially inviting GRADUATE ORGANIZATIONS and NSU DEPARTMENTS or offices to join the undergraduate organizations to participate in the parade and make a big splash of creativity and school spirit. It’s an excellent opportunity to display your passion for our institution and compete for fantastic prizes!
Parade Participation Highlights:
Reimbursement: Registered organizations can be reimbursed up to $50.00 for float or banner supplies, making your participation even more affordable and exciting.
Competition: Registered graduate and undergraduate organizations are eligible to win impressive prizes for their banners or floats! The stakes are high – $750 for first place, $500 for second place, and $250 for third place.
Make a wave of impact and excitement by creating a float or banner that represents your organization’s enthusiasm and creativity. Your participation not only enhances the parade but also contributes to the vibrant Shark community we’re all proud to be part of.
How to Participate:
- Register your organization: Fill out this sharkHUB form found HERE to reserve your spot in the parade TODAY! Registration closes on November 5, 2023.
- Get creative: Design and create your float or banner, proudly displaying your Shark Pride!
- Join the Parade: Meet us at the Parade on Friday, November 10, and bring your friends, colleagues, and roommates!
Don’t forget to wear Shark Blue when you come!
