The Office of Residential Life and Housing has opened their 2021-2022 Housing Contracts.
Below is the Self-Selection timeline, outlining important dates and information:
MONDAY, MARCH 29 AT 9:00 A.M. EST
• The Undergraduate Housing Contract for 2021-2022 goes live
THURSDAY, APRIL 1 BY 5:00 P.M. EST
• Housing contracts for returning residents due
FRIDAY, APRIL 2 BY 12:00 P.M. EST
• Returning residents will receive their self-selection day and time via their NSU email
• Upon receiving this email, returning residents will be able to roommate match with other returning residents who received their self-selection day and time via their NSU email
MONDAY, APRIL 5 AT 9:00 A.M.
• UPointe Preference Form goes live for Juniors and Seniors only who have 4+ terms lived on and that submitted their contracts by the April 1st deadline
TUESDAY, APRIL 6
• 9:00 a.m. EST: Room waitlist becomes available on housing portal for returning students ONLY who have already selected a room
• 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. EST:
Students with 6+ terms lived on will select rooms
• 1:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. EST:
Students with 4-5 terms lived on will select rooms
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 7
• 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. EST: Students with 2-3 terms lived on will select rooms
• 12:00 p.m. EST: Returning students who submitted a late undergraduate housing contract, will be eligible for the last chance date of Thursday, April 8
• 5:00 p.m. EST: Returning students who submitted a late undergraduate housing contract by 12:00 p.m. EST on April 7, receive their self-selection day and time via email
THURSDAY, APRIL 8
• 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. EST: Students with 1 term lived on will select rooms
• 1.00 p.m.–5:00 p.m. EST: Last Chance Day (PENDING SPACE AVAILABILITY), students who submitted contracts after the April 1 deadline will self-select
FRIDAY, APRIL 9
• 9:00 a.m. EST:
– Self-selection page closes
– UPointe Preference Form due for students to receive priority assignment (the housing office will notify students who complete the form when they can expect to be assigned to UPointe after April 9)
– Housing portal waitlist closes and returning students will email housing@nova.edu if they wish to add/remove themselves from waitlists
• 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. EST: Students who declined to self-select, will be manually assigned to remaining spaces
