The Office of Residential Life and Housing has officially opened the Winter 2021 housing contracts for new and returning undergraduate students interested in returning to campus next semester.
Below you will find the Winter 2021 Self-Selection timeline, outlining important dates and information for both new and returning students.
Thursday, Oct. 1 at 9:00 a.m. EST
- Winter 2021 UG Housing Contract goes live
Friday, Oct. 2 at 9:00 a.m. EST
- Winter 2021 Preference Form becomes available student housing portal for students who receive confirmation email from housing that their Winter 2021 contract has been processed.
Monday, Oct. 5
- The Office of Residential Life and Housing will begin to process Winter 2021 preference forms.
Monday, Oct. 19 by 9:00 a.m. EST
- Winter 2021 UG Housing Contract due for students who wish to participate in the Winter 2021 Preference Form process
Thursday, Oct. 22 by 5:00 p.m. EST
- Winter 2021 UG Housing Contract due for students who wish to participate in the Winter 2021 Self-selection process
Friday, Oct. 23 at 5:00 p.m. EST
- Students who submitted their Winter 2021 Housing Contracts by the deadline above, will receive their self-selection day and time via their NSU email
- Upon receiving this email, students will be able to roommate match with other students who received their self-selection day and time email
Monday, October 26:
- 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. EST: Students with 8 or more terms lived on will select rooms
- 1:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m. EST: Students with 6-7 terms lived on will select rooms
Tuesday, October 27:
- 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. EST: Students with 4-5 terms lived on will select rooms
- 1:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m. EST: Students with 2-3 terms lived on will select rooms
Wednesday, October 28:
- 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. EST: Students with 1 term lived on will select room
- 1:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m. EST: Students with 0 terms lived on will select a room
- 5:00 p.m. EST: Students who submitted a late Winter 2021 Housing Contract by the 12 p.m. EST deadline, will receive their last chance time slot for Thursday, October 29th via their NSU email
Thursday, October 29:
- 9:00 a.m. EST: Last chance day, students who submitted contracts after the October 22nd deadline will self-select
- 1:00 p.m.: Room self-selection pages close
- 2:00 p.m.: Students who declined to self-select, will be manually assigned to remaining spaces and will receive their Winter 2021 assignment via their NSU email.
