Social Wellness is having positive connections with friends, family, professors, coaches, supervisors, and anyone else.
Communicating helps you manage your time and your life, to feel good about yourself, and to build trustworthy relationships with others.
Humans are social creatures, and relationships are essential to maintaining wellness and health. What does it mean to be in a “good relationship”?
Signs of Social Wellness:
- Development of assertiveness skills
- Balancing social and personal time
- Maintaining and developing friendships
- Creating boundaries in relationships
- Having a supportive network
Why is it Important:
- Allows you to build healthy relationships with others
- Enables you to create boundaries that encourage communication, trust, and conflict management
- Critical to building emotional resilience
