The NSU Miami-Kendall Student Government Association (SGA) and Nursing Student Association (NSA) did a fantastic job kicking off this year’s Welcome Week! The site had two events per day for their students. The NSA tackled the daytime students with food ranging from pizza to smoothies along with some healthy games of ping pong and raffles it was a great way for the different semesters of nursing students to come together. The NSA handed it over to the SGA in the evening. Again – food was not a problem. The SGA handed out new student planners and other NSU swag, as well as, talked up a lot of important resources including our existing clubs and organizations. What would a Welcome Week be without a grand finale? This year we wrapped things up at Blue Martini Kendall. That should say enough. I’d like to thank everyone again for their hard work and participation. It was a great start to the new school year!
