We are thrilled to congratulate our NSU Women’s Swim Team on winning the NCAA National Championship for the third consecutive year. Throughout the week, they showcased their incredible teamwork and resilience, delivering exceptional performances and dominating the competition.
A special note must be made congratulating the group of Zsofia Kurdi, Emilia Ronningdal, Maria Goncalves, and Maya Esparza; who secured the National Championship, by winning the last race of the meet. In a must-win event, with the team trailing by two points, the 400 Free Relay team set a new NSU and Sunshine State Conference record, with their time of 3:19.09 claiming the individual national title and sealing the third straight NCAA Division II National Championship for the program.
