The Department of Biology presents Distinguished Speaker Seminar!

Laurie Goodman, Ph.D., has become a legend in scientific publication. She co-founded and edited the beginnings of Nature Genetics and Genome Research two powerhouses of science and genomics. Dr. Goodman founded GigaScience Press, which publishes award-winning journals for innovation in publishing: GigaScience and GigaByte. Her experience and leadership assured her position as a world expert on science publication ethics and a major force in promotion of women in science, research, policy, and management.
