DEEP Labs will be presenting their research and all NSU students and staff are invited! Gust speakers will include Dr. Dawn Kernagis, Director of Sciences, and Kirk Krack, the Human Performance Diver Lead.

These professionals will explain how DEEP is “Turning Marine Science Fiction into Marine Science Reality” with their recent habitat design called “SENTINEL”, an undersea living array developed for multi-month and multi-year missions and other advancements in “making humans aquatic”. These advancements will unlock the next generation of scientific exploration to compliment UAV’s, ROV’s and other submersibles. Following the 45-minute talk we will host a happy hour social where you’ll be able to engage with Dawn and Kirk for a relaxed Q&A session.
