The week of November 12th – 16th, 2018, the NSU Office of International Affairs will again be hosting the annual International Education Week (IEW)! In order to make this year’s IEW a more student-led initiative Razor’s Edge Global will be coordinating the schedule of events.
IEW is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences. You can learn more about International Education Week here.
Here at NSU, IEW is a week of campus-wide events and programs highlighting NSU’s international initiatives. IEW is a great way to support our international communities here on campus! It also can serve as an introduction to globalization for students, and/or a platform for expression and celebration for others.
If you are a part of a club or organization that promotes globalization, cultural awareness, diversity and inclusion, human rights, interfaith understanding, etc., we would love for you to join us in hosting an event or tabling at our “Global Village” session. IEW is a great way to promote your values and find others who share the same interests! You may learn about some suggested events here.
If you are interested in hosting or promoting an event during IEW, please contact us at iew@nova.edu or reach out to Sarah Brandt, Graduate Assistant for the Office of International Affairs at sb3002@nova.edu.
