We will continue to remember their names!
On February 14th, 2018, 17 individuals lost their lives due to gun violence at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Please join us on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at the Student Affairs Building Patio from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. as we gather again to remember those who lost their lives. Dr. Scott Poland (Professor in the College of Psychology and internationally-recognized expert on school shootings) will be the keynote speaker and discuss the impact of school shootings and proactive measures that should be in place.
We extend this invitation to the local community, seeing as the effects of this tragedy continues to resonate throughout Broward County. We will continue to stand together to remember: the victims, their stories, and their names. If you have any questions, please contact Zaver Moore, Graduate Assistant for Student Counseling Services, at CounselorInResidence@Nova.edu for more information.
