Critical Theories and Gender
Cars, computers, costumes, toys, clothing factories, steam cleaning, meat packing, and homes—what are the relationships between gender and technology? What are the economic, social, and political consequences of our gender biases and the ways we view, use, and innovate technology? What counts as gender? And what counts as technology?
Register for LITR 4060 Critical Theories & Gender (MWF 11-11:50am; CRN 30646) and explore these questions and more. As a revived class, we welcome all those interested in the course and invite substitute prerequisites other than those listed in the catalog.
