In celebration of International Education Week (IEW), the Office of International Affairs hosts a week-long nationwide event each year to celebrate the benefits of international education. This year, the celebration will take place from November 18-22. We have planned an exciting week of educational and fun events to encourage global awareness of various cultures. Here are some ways you can get involved:
1. Parade of Flags: Join us as we kick off IEW with the Parade of Flags opening ceremony on Monday, November 18, from noon to 1:00 p.m. You can choose one flag from a country of your choice, wear cultural attire, and invite your friends! Please sign up by Monday, November 4 at 11:59 p.m., using this link: https://forms.gle/19AbyQamKqqhVHmR8.
2. Global Village: Would you like to represent your country during our Global Village closing ceremony on Friday, November 22, from noon to 1:00 p.m.? Each table should have decorations, music, food, and information or games representing the country and culture. Our office will provide a $25 reimbursement for each table. If you’re interested, please fill out this form: https://forms.gle/PiWY2dyDuRhEv3Mb9 by Monday, November 4 at 11:59 p.m.
