The Physician Assistants of NSU’s Orlando program have been giving back to their community by serving up smiles in the Ronald McDonald House Share-a-Meal Program. Along with their numerous philanthropic events, the PA’s also donate and prepare food for the families that stay at the house, who are grateful to receive the meal. PA Orlando SGA Activities and Philanthropy Chair Michelle McCarroll says “The appreciation displayed by the occupants and staff members [of the house] filled our hearts with satisfaction and reminded us of why it is so important to give back to the community you live in.” The students have scheduled and plan to continue providing meals to the house throughout the semester.
