At the close of the first semester in the Physician Assistant program at Nova Southeastern University in Jacksonville, participants in the program enjoyed a smorgasbord of flavorful treats. After completing Cultural Issues in Healthcare, a course that exlpored health traditions, heritage, and the healthcare systems that exist in different cultures and areas of the world, participants joined together to feast. For the semester finale, each participant chose a country and brought a variety of dishes from that country for everyone to enjoy. The students and professors who attended enjoyed socializing and celebrating the end of their first challenging, yet rewarding, semester.
