The employees at the Jacksonville Student Educational Center made sure that this Christmas season was more joyful for young and old in their community. They participated in the Red Kettle Drive for the Salvation Army and the students on the Physician Assistant program adopted a child for the Christmas through the Angel Tree Drive and for the Salvation Army. In preparing to spread Christmas cheer throughout the Jacksonville community, the team made sure they covered both ends of the age spectrum. At the upper end, the elderly residents at the Mt. Carmel Gardens Nursing Home got some Christmas cheer from the cards that the SEC sent to them; at the lower end two needy children were adopted for the season and provided with clothes, toys and toiletries. The Jacksonville SEC family strongly believes in sharing the joy at Christmas.
