NSU Celebrates Pride Day (Jun 28)

Pride Month is a time to celebrate the community and the achievements of people who identify as LGBTQIA+. Pride month is celebrated throughout June yearly to commemorate its roots in the Stonewall Riots of June 1969.

The BEDI Advisory Council’s Books + More Club has organized a special Pride Day Event on June 28, 2023, from 12:00-1:30 p.m. via Zoom. The event will be hosted via Zoom as part of the BEDI Council’s new learning and development series, “Byte-Size Learning.”

This event will be a panel discussion on “Transgender Legislation and Transgender Community Support.” We are honored to have a lineup of outstanding speakers, including Ashley Mayfaire from TransSocial, Daniel Tilley from ACLU Florida, Orlando Gonzales from SAVE, and Mateo Ventura Bruer from the AQUA Foundation.

Join us for an engaging discussion via Zoom at Meeting ID: 977 5454 5055, Passcode: 542633, or visit nova.edu/bedi to learn more about upcoming BEDI Advisory Council events.
