Celebrate International Education Week

Each year, the United States Department of State designates a week dedicated to the advancement of International Education. This year, International Education Week (IEW) will take place from November 12-16, 2012. Nova Southeastern University’s Office of International Affairs is working with representatives from many of our schools, colleges, and centers to plan a number of activities highlighting international education and NSU’s commitment to campus internationalization and our core values of community and diversity.

A full listing the week’s activities taking place at NSU is below, and can be found on our website at: www.nova.edu/internationalstudents/edweek.html

International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. NSU is participating in this joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education in order to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.

Please join us for a campus-wide week of events highlighting NSU’s mission and core values! All events are open to the entire NSU Community.

Additional information about International Education Week in the USA and abroad can be accessed via the US State Department website: http://iew.state.gov/
