Mental Health Services is dedicated to promoting student wellness and well-being.
We provide:
- support for students and families.
- resources for wellness and success
- help with stress, anxiety, and depression
- guidance for academic and personal growth
Additional support is available from the Graduate Assistant for Mental Health Engagement and Well-being.
Center for Students Counseling and Well-Being
The NSU Center for Student Counseling Services and Well-Being (CSCW) offers counseling services to help students reach their full potential academically, personally, and professionally.
We provide:
- 10 free counseling sessions.
- individual, family, and couples counseling.
- psychiatric services
- crisis intervention (with a 24-hour crisis line).
All services are delivered in a confidential and supportive environment.
NSU CARE Team
The NSU CARE Team brings campus partners together to identify and address student concerns early.
We provide:
- a compassionate space
- early intervention
- referrals to campus resources
- support strategies
- coordinated care
We are not a replacement for Student Conduct, Residential Life, or classroom management.
