Imagine transforming an abandoned city building into an exciting art canvas that serves as a public gateway to downtown Fort Lauderdale, FAT Village, and MASS District. Volunteers and community supporters coming together to deconstruct, transform, reimagine.
Join us to be a part of the Open Canvas Project that will culminate on October 28, when the former “One Stop Shop” building (301 N. Andrews Avenue) is deconstructed and reimagined as a continuous and collaborative urban art piece during a fair-style, multi-media art event.
Join SLCE for Make a Difference Day of Service with ArtServe as we work on the Open Canvas Art Project! We will meet in the Shark Circle at 9:15 a.m., serve from 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., and will wrap up on campus at 1:00 p.m. with lunch.
Transportation and lunch will be provided. Learn more about the Open Canvas Art Project here.
