A Leadership Summit with Dr. Bill Faulkner was held at NSU Palm Beach on Saturday, April 16th, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Being that the summit was in the morning, some were slightly sluggish. However, there was a shift in moods and atmosphere as soon as Dr. Faulkner started speaking. Students that did not know each other before the summit were engaging in laughter and conversations throughout the event. In addition, nervous anticipation was apparent in all their faces as soon as Dr. Faulkner ended his introduction by stating that they will all be best friends by the end of the seminar. This was an inevitable end result because of the hands on activities performed throughout the day. All students participated in ice breakers, games that tested communication and leadership skills and group discussions about how to be a better leader.
