The Office of Student Leadership and Civic Engagement and the Office of Student Media have established a new partnership in leadership and media development by establishing NSU’s Second Annual Student Leadership and Multimedia Conference on January 26, 2019.
This new daylong leadership and multimedia conference provides the opportunity for NSU students to join area community college and high school students to participate in an environment that will enhance students’ skills and knowledge, and engages them to think critically about issues related to media and leadership development. Attendees will learn from a variety of speakers and facilitators–both faculty and staff from the university as well as outside speakers that have significant professional expertise in their respective industries in the areas of leadership and media.
In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to network with representatives from local businesses, non-profits, and media outlets at our Leadership & Multimedia Internship Fair. The internship fair complements the conference allowing students to learn about and apply for internships oftentimes on the spot.
