- 1:00 – 1:30 p.m.: Keynote Address by Brissa Quiroz, Microsoft Director of Accessibility Education
Insights into Microsoft’s accessibility initiatives, including screen readers, voice recognition, adaptive controllers, and other inclusive technologies. - 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.: Panel & Listening Session I: Universal Accessibility in Education, Law, and Medicine
Discussing the importance of creating inclusive environments where success is defined by skill, not limitations. - 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.: Panel & Listening Session II: Enhancing Accessibility through IT Solutions
Led by the Office of Innovation and Information Technology, focusing on support for teaching, learning, and research through innovative technology. Attendees can share feedback on further improvements.
The event features expert-led sessions from NSU and Microsoft, panel discussions on universal accessibility, and opportunities for attendees to provide feedback on improving campus accessibility.
