Hudson Center’s Summer Camp Awards Three Scholarships

The Huizenga Business School’s International Institute for Franchise Education recently held a ceremony to award three scholarships for their Entrepreneurship Summer Camp and Personal Enrichment (E.S.C.A.P.E.) Program.  E.S.C.A.P.E. is designed to give high school students with a passion for business an understanding of and appreciation for the process of starting a business and maintaining ethical business practices.

Applicants for the scholarship wrote an essay on a business that they would like to start. The best articulated ideas won.

The goal of the camp is to educate and inspire young entrepreneurs. Each day is packed with lectures from NSU professors and South Florida business leaders, lively discussions, and interactive exercises aimed at assisting the campers in creating a business plan.

The camp will run for two sessions this summer, June 20-24 and July 18-22. An advanced camp, E.S.C.A.P.E. BEYOND!, will be held from July 25-29. For more information, call 954.262.5137 or e-mail execed@nova.edu

2010 E.S.C.A.P.E. students learn from professor Robert Sellani, D.B.A.
