Honoring All Who Served on Veterans Day

Nova Southeastern University is home to hundreds of undergraduate and graduate students, staff, and faculty who have honorably served in our nation’s Armed Forces. Many of whom have served in combat, and dozens of cadets are preparing to raise their hand and swear an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States.

This Veterans Day,  the Military Affairs Veterans Resource Center (VRC) will be hosting a Veterans Recognition Ceremony on November 11th from 11 a.m. until noon, on the Armed Forces Service Plaza near the Horvitz Administration Building.

During this ceremony we will honor our veterans/military affiliated students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community supporters. There will be a special recognition ceremony announcing the 2021 honorees of the “Nominate A Vet & Cadet” program.

  • NSU Vice President of Facilities, Danny Alfonso
  • NSU Executive Associate Dean, Dr. Ken Jonson
  • Distinguished NSU Alumnus, Major General ‘Burn’ Loeffke

The event is open to the NSU community and invited guests. Light refreshments will be provided to those in attendance.
