In celebration of the NSU Homecoming Week, on Wednesday, November 13, campus streets closed down for the first campus “Shark Race”—our newest Homecoming event. A total of 32 teams registered for the race, including six teams of professional staff members. Teams lined up around the NSU Shark Fountain (a.k.a. Shark Circle) to weave through cones, get sprayed with water, and relay through with their teams. The fastest staff team was Campus Recreation, who completed the race about 20 seconds faster than all the others. 26 student teams participated. The top teams competed in the final round (after winning their heats, and having their best time).
