Fifteen undergrads will be spending their Spring Break serving an underprivileged community in Esmeraldas, Ecuador through a mobile clinic provided by MedLife. They are members of the Multicultural Association of Pre-Health Students (MAPS), and include: Nancy Sarmiento (President, and organizer of this trip), Noemi Bermudez, Omar Garcia, Toni-Kaye McDougall, Biana Modilevsky, Lucas Strabelli, Megan Nayak, Emeline Calligaris, Devin Rogers, Faria Fatmi, Javaughn Gray, Justin Stacy, Mega Margapuram, Imran Siddiqi, and Reena Dholakia. They will work alongside healthcare professionals to deliver services, bring awareness about prevalent health concerns, and help in a construction project. Service experiences mold students to become healthcare professionals who will impact their communities by helping the underserved.
