File Early—Avoid Delays!

1. Visit studentaid.gov to get started.
2. Use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool, when possible, to import 2020 tax information directly from the IRS.
3. Read definitions carefully. Don’t rush through questions.
4. Don’t forget to sign your FAFSA with your FSA ID. If you are a dependent student, your parent or guardian also needs to sign your FAFSA with an FSA ID.
5. Monitor your NSU email for updates.
