Neil Katz, Ph.D., faculty in the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (DCAR) in NSU’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS), along with DCAR doctoral students Suzette Harriott and Crystina Wyler, presented a workshop for the League of Minnesota Cities in Minneapolis. The workshop was entitled, “Dealing with Difficult People: Managing Conflict and Differences.” The sessions included mayors, city managers and other elected officials from across Minnesota.
Katz teaches courses which include Negotiation Theory and Practice, Organizational Conflict Intervention, and The Reflective Practitioner: Consulting Conflict and Change in Organizational Settings with Leaders. Harriott earned her M.S. degree in Human Resource Management from HSBE. Wyler earned her M.A. in Cross-disciplinary Studies (MACS) from SHSS.
